Return & Refund Policy

At Garden Mithra we strive to deliver healthy, high-quality products. Because we sell live plants and perishable gardening items, returns and refunds are handled differently by product category. This policy applies to both domestic (India) and international buyers.
1. Live Plants — No Return, Only Replacement
Live plants are not eligible for return. We offer replacements if a plant arrives damaged or unhealthy, provided you:
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery, and
- Provide clear photos showing the damage or issue.
If you do not need a replacement or if we do not have stock to replace the item, we will issue a store credit instead.
2. Seeds & Rhizomes — No Return, Only Replacement
Seeds, bulbs, and rhizomes are not returnable. We will replace items if they fail to germinate within 8 weeks despite correct care. To request a replacement, please provide:
- Order details and proof of purchase
- Photos or a brief report of sowing conditions (if available)
If a replacement is not required or stock is unavailable, we will issue a store credit.
3. Pots & Planters, Soil & Fertilizers, Garden Tools — No Return, Only Replacement
These items are not eligible for return. We will replace products that are damaged on arrival if you:
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photographic evidence of the damage
If a replacement is not needed or stock is not available, we will provide a store credit.
4. Artificial Plants & Flowers — No Return, Only Replacement
Artificial plants and flowers are not returnable. Replacements are available only for items damaged on arrival. You must:
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery, and
- Provide clear images of the damage.
If replacement is not required or not available, a store credit will be issued.
5. Replacement Process (All Categories)
To request a replacement, please follow these steps:

- Include your order number and the affected product name
- Attach clear photos showing the issue
- Submit the request within the timelines specified above (24 hours for arrivals, 8 weeks for seeds germination)
Once we review and approve your request, we will either dispatch a replacement or issue store credit if a replacement is not available or not required.
6. Refund Method
All refunds under this policy are issued as store credit only. Store credit details:
- Can be used on future orders at Garden Mithra
- Will be recorded against your account or provided as a redeemable code
- Does not expire and is non-transferable
7. Non-Eligible Situations
We cannot provide replacements or store credit for issues resulting from:
- Reports made after the allowed time frame (e.g., more than 24 hours after delivery for applicable categories)
- Damage caused by incorrect care or handling after delivery
- Delays in unboxing or planting that cause plant decline
- Damage caused by extreme weather during or after delivery
- Customer-provided incorrect address or customer unavailability leading to delivery failure
8. International Orders
This policy applies equally to international customers. Note the following:
- Customs duties, taxes, and import regulations are the buyer’s responsibility
- Replacement timelines and shipping depend on courier availability and may be longer for international shipments
- We are not responsible for customs delays or rejections
